What it does

LEVER monitors your Gmail inbox via a real-time webhook. Every inbound email is automatically classified into one of six categories: To Respond, High Priority, Meetings, Comments, Notifications, or Marketing.

For emails that require a response, LEVER drafts a reply in your voice — learned from analyzing your last 30 days of sent email history — and posts the draft to your Slack for review before anything is sent. Nothing leaves your inbox without your explicit approval.

This isn't a generic auto-responder. LEVER's classification runs on your custom Gmail labels, so the system reflects how you already triage email, not a one-size-fits-all taxonomy.

How it works

Gmail fires a real-time Pub/Sub event to LEVER on every new email that lands in your inbox.
LEVER classifies the email using your custom Gmail labels — To Respond, High Priority, Meetings, Comments, Notifications, or Marketing.
A structured notification card posts to your #admin Slack channel: sender, subject line, and a short preview of the content.
For "To Respond" and "High Priority" emails, LEVER fetches the full email body for context.
Your voice profile is loaded — cached from your last 30 days of sent mail, and regenerated automatically on a weekly cycle.
Gemini Flash generates a draft reply matching your exact greeting style, sign-off, sentence length, and formality level.
The draft is posted as a threaded reply in Slack with three options: ✅ send as-is, ✍️ request edits, or ❌ discard.
Nothing is sent without your explicit approval. LEVER waits for your decision before any email leaves your account.

Voice learning details

Analyzes your last 30 days / up to 50 sent emails to build a writing fingerprint.
Extracts greeting style, sign-off pattern, full signature block, sentence length, formality level, characteristic phrases, and things you typically avoid saying.
Merges automatically with your VOICE.md brand guidelines when populated — VOICE.md rules always take precedence over the learned profile.
Profile is cached for 7 days and auto-regenerates on expiry, or immediately on request.
Works per-account with full profile isolation, so multiple team inboxes never cross-contaminate voice data.
